Hey!

Thanks, Praneshachar and Nita! Your encouragement is very heartening.

About donations, I was VERY uneasy with asking for donations, but since it is used as a source of income at many sites, I put my ego/self respect aside and did it. I think the reason it doesn't work for my site is because review writing is not necessarily looked upon as 'social work' in comparison to say getting celebrity bloggers to blog together or voluntarily managing wiki or running Desi Pundit.

The only reason I thought there might be a chance is because people kept saying, "thanks for saving my money!" Anyway, no harm done :)

And of course, thanks Poonam for having me here.

@Praneshachar: I too am very apprehensive about asking donations through blog. But I noticed most full-time bloggers do it. That is why I asked Meetu about it and she said it is not working.

@Nita: I too found Meetu's site while googling for a movie review. yeah, I was surprised that people do not donate. :)
Meetu would be happy to have your wishes! Thanks for stopping by!

I have seen this site and wondered who was behind it. Interesting to read Meetu's interview. I guess making money from a blog is what many want, but it's very enlightening to know that people will actually not donate!
Her site has a professional look and I wish her all the best in the future.

a blog for hindi film reviews great it was a news for me.

"I am a part-time movie reviewer, part-time blogger, part-time writer, part-time mother-of-two and a part-time housewife. I enjoy each of these roles, just that there are times when I enjoy one more than the other!"

Nice interview very happy to read it. Q and A are so well framed and replied both are very serios so no Q is casual and No A is too.

Thanks poonam for taking to a new world and cheers to meetu for such accomplished job. the way you manage everthing part time shows you are a good time manager. unless time management is done you can not handle multiple tasks. wish you all the best let your blog bring more money more advertisement revenue and real income. somehow concept of donations I din't like you are doing a good job you have to earn from your eforts. all the best.
one Q are there any encounters with producers and directors or film team when you have rated them low? are any body approaching for making the review of their film?

happy bloging more reviews more revenues to meetu and ofcourse all the best to Poonam keep going let us get opportunity to get ewxposure new bloggers witha difference
